Who we are
This site is run by Indinite Ltd, based in London. We are the controller of the personal data described on this page.
For anything about your data, email info@indinite.uk.
What we collect
- When you use our contact form: your name, email address, phone number and business name if you give them, the service you're interested in, and your message.
- When you email us or book a call: your contact details, what you tell us, and our notes from the call.
- When you visit the site: the technical details every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting and security providers record these in server logs.
We don't ask for special category data, such as health or political opinions. Please don't include it in your message.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
- To deliver our services if you become a client. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep the site secure and working. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse and fixing problems.
- To keep business and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
We don't sell your data, and we won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and handle messages. They process data only on our instructions.
- Web3Forms delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Hostinger hosts the website.
- Cloudflare protects the site and speeds it up.
- jsDelivr serves the code library for the animation on our home page. Your browser connects to it directly, so it receives your IP address. Our fonts are served from our own website.
We may also share data with our accountants or professional advisers, or where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our work together and 6 years after, as required for tax and accounting.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting and security providers for their standard periods, usually a few weeks.
Cookies
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie that helps tell people from bots. It holds no personal profile, and the law doesn't require consent for it.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools that use cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format
Email info@indinite.uk and we'll reply within one month. There's no charge.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
